Seminar with Dr. Carol Coulter
The School of Social Sciences and Law is delighted to announce a forthcoming seminar by Dr. Carol Coulter, Senior Legal Editor of the Irish Times, part of its ongoing Socio-legal Speaker Series.
The seminar takes place in Room 5034, DIT, Aungier Street on *Thursday 10 December* at 7.30 p.m.
Carol will be talking about her recently published book on the Family Courts in Ireland: "Family Law and Practice: A Study of Cases in the Circuit Court". This ground-breaking book casts much-needed light on the operation of the Family courts in Ireland, heretofore an area shrouded in much secrecy. Carol's research formed the basis for an M.Phil. thesis awarded by the Dublin Institute of Technology in February 2009
